2015 F1 Calendar

THE FIA has published the Formula 1 calendar for 2015, the 66th season of the World Championship.

Mexico returns to F1 for the first time since 1992, meaning there will be a record equalling 20 Grands Prix next season. Singapore and Japan will now run back-to-back, making Russia a stand-alone race, while the German Grand Prix switches from Hockenheim to the Nürburgring.

Aside from that next year’s schedule is almost identical to this year’s.

The 20 Grands Prix next season will be held on and at…

India is, once again, missing from the schedule. F1 boss Bernie Ecclestone had ruled out a return to Delhi last month, but India may still return in 2016.

The European Grand Prix is also set to return in 2016, this time in Baku, Azerbaijan. The Grand Prix of America in New Jersey is still slated for 2016 too.
