Chase for the Championship.

I have been inspired by NASCAR to run my own knock-out title chase.

So far this season 10 drivers have podiumed, and they will now battle it out for the championship crown over the last four races.

They are: Lewis Hamilton (8 wins – 2 seconds – 2 thirds), Nico Rosberg (4-8-0), Daniel Ricciardo (3-0-4), Valtteri Bottas (0-2-2), Sebastian Vettel (0-1-3), Fernando Alonso (0-1-1), Kevin Magnussen (0-1-0), Jenson Button, Sergio Pérez and Felipe Massa (all 0-0-1).

  • The three lowest finishing drivers in Russia will be eliminated, leaving seven.
  • The two lowest finishing drivers in America will be eliminated, leaving five.
  • The two lowest finishing drivers in Brazil will be eliminated, leaving three.
  • The first of the remaining three drivers to finish in Abu Dhabi is the champion.

The Next Grand Prix…

This weekend Formula 1 visits Russia for the very first time. Russia has held two Grand Prix races in the past: 1913 and 1914.
