WAR-THEMED Swedish heavy metal band Sabaton have announced their first Japanese dates.
The group’s Facebook page confirmed they’ll play Loud Park 15, the tenth staging of one of Japan’s biggest music festivals, on 11th October in Saitama.
Sabaton’s website also lists a concert in Tokyo on 12th October.
Loud Park 15 is being headlined by Slayer, with fellow Big Four member Anthrax also on the bill.
Currently touring America and Canada with Nightwish and Delain, Sabaton’s discography specifically mentions Japan twice, but, speaking as a fan now: I doubt they’ll play Nuclear Attack and Midway whilst in The Land of the Rising Sun.
